Matters need attention in developing sublimation printing for beginner

1. About offset paper choice, I have a lot of customers use 70g or 80g offset paper, some customers use specialized sublimation paper or chrome paper. Please let customers choose paper according their requests. Different paper has different printed result, such as paper will influence inks' dry speed & inks' color.

2. Sublimation offse inks can't be directly printed on cotton fabric, its best result can be obtained on 100% polyester fabric.

3. The color tint of offset sublimation ink appears dull and dirty when printing on paper, but after transfer printing , the color tint will become vivid and brilliant . So color speration is difference between conventional offset ink and sublimation ink, color speration is the most difficult for a beginner. This is why beginners who want to consider entering the field of sublimation printing , must make testing for many times .

For example ,

If you want to print bright red , the values of color separation is : Yellow 35-40% and Magenta 100%

If you want to print blue , the separation color value is : Cyan : 100% , Magenta : 20% .

If you want to print green , the separation color values is Cyan : 80% , Yellow : 90%

These value was tested by our sublimation ink , for reference only .

4. Please test sample first

1 ) separating color of a small size image ( means image of artwork ) on computer

2 ) printing this image on paper use litho offset machine

3 ) transferring image from paper onto fabric use heat press

4 ) through testing for many times , you will find out the rule of ink colors .

I think these problems can be resolved but maybe have small troubles .
